This limited edition print of a mixed media canvas was created for a charity event in aid of ‘Destination Florida’ and as such a percentage from every sale will go back to the charity to support them in their amazing work with young children. The Manc ‘R’ Lisa features a collage of archival news footage, a Manchester cityscape and the iconic image of Leonardo Da Vinci’s muse. The body of the woman is covered in some of the most famous albums in the history of Mancunian music and she sports a kagool jacket akin to those worn by the Gallagher brothers in Oasis. Her eyes were hand-painted in acrylic and evoke that Da Vinci style and her baseball cap tops off this amazing artwork which was a huge hit at a recent auction with the original selling for £3250. Due to popular demand this print is now available so you cannot only own a piece of cultural artwork but support an incredible local charity in the process.
